Word weaver winner…

OK, it’s not gonna be today. It’s gonna be Sunday.
I’m not trying to be a jerk!
Hopefully I’m not a jerk even though I’m not trying to be one.
I simply had a lot of great entries and I decided to re-read the top 20 to ensure that the best three were making it to the final round, that those that did not make it to the top 20 were properly assessed in case one of them should move up, and that the best one overall would win.
That’s fair. That’s what you want. You want quality at the top.
Also, because I know if I was in a contest like this I would be dying to get the feedback, I have decided to go ahead and as I am re-reading each entry, I am releasing the feedback to the participant. So they’re not going to have to suffer over the weekend except to find out if they won or not. They will get my commentary between now and probably Sunday at 5 PM as I reread them.
OK so I hate to do that. But in order to make sure I get the best at the top at the number one slot, that’s how it’s got to be.
Sorry! I know this sucks! You’ll have your winner soon!

  1. Thank you for hosting the contest AND for investing in the entries. That says a lot about you (none of which is jerky 🙂 )
