  1. Parade’s End by Ford Maddox Ford

I have read it twice and couldn’t put it down both times

  2. I have just finished reading Number the Stars by Lois Lowry. It is a children’s book about WWII in Denmark and it was pretty incredible. You daughter might like this, Dan. It is very sensitively written about bravery and friendship.

    1. Those were very popular books! A lot of people got obsessed with both of them – that’s why they made a whole series out of the books and then made a series out of the movies! And spawned a million copycats.

  3. Most recently? I stayed up way too late finishing Neil Gaiman’s The Graveyard Book, and Sharon Creech’s Walk Two Moons. (Lots of MG/YA just now 🙂 )
