I did a program at a local rotary club this week that was very well received and got an invite for two other speaking engagements! PLUS sold some books in the process!
I talked about how I got into writing in the first place, why I went with self-publishing, that sort of thing. Since the group was essentially all businessmen, I thought the business aspect of it would be more appropriate. And they asked really good questions, too.
And I had this one lady, who read both my books, come up and say “I never thought I would find anyone I enjoyed reading more than Nora Roberts, but I did. You!” Talk about a shot in the arm! I floated all the way back to my car 🙂

That’s awesome! What kind of “program”?
