I LOVE This!

This is the first 15 minute audio session…

Poggibonsi

An Italian Misadventure:

a hilarious and unconventional romantic comedy

Poggi cover FINAL

Poggi is my baby, you know? Rarely has a narrator captured all the nuances of dialogue the way I had them in my head. This lady is BRILLIANT.

I love, love, LOVE this reading!

    1. I’ve never found that to be the case. It’s acting and they have a role to play.

When you have a narrator, unless you have all the characters in the story the same sex as the narrator, you’re going to have a man voicing a woman or a woman voicing a man. For this story, the women’s roles were the most important ones, and the main female character was probably the most memorable in the book, and the second main female character may be the most memorable character in any book I’ve ever written. Plus, even though the point of view is a man most of the time, it was very important that women readers understand they were allowed to laugh at the jokes. That sounds silly but it was a big concern of mine. So I really wanted a female narrator for the story.
