I agree. People ask where my ideas come from, and I’m like, how do you not see any all day everyday??

I noticed 7 or 8 years ago when I was writing furiously that I noticed stories everywhere. We were driving to Florida and were about an hour out of Colorado Springs. There was this old white house surrounded by trees in the middle of the plains. The house was decrepit and creepy. You could just make out Pikes Peak from there. I thought it would make a perfect setting for a story. My mind swirled with how I would describe almost everything I saw. Now that I’m writing again, I hope it begins soon.

It would seem once you become at one with a writing frame of mind, your mind is always seeing opportunities. The spark for a book or a short story may be there already but the imagination or inspiration is whispering ‘Feed me. Feed me.’
