Makes for a tragedy. Not sure about a comedy. Maybe switch rocks for pies?

One is funny and the other is tragic. I don’t know if it works. I had just woken up.

My favorite example is Jurassic Park. Definitely not a comedy. Lots of tragic moments and scary moments. But also many many moments where you laugh out loud because of funny things that people say or do.

True. Some of the best stories are combinations. So pies where half of them have rocks inside.

Somebody said all comedy is based on pain. I’m not sure I agree, but it’s something to think about.

I can see that. Either your pain or somebody else’s pain. Not always obvious.

Brilliant in moderation. Taken too far you get “Rocks fall. Everybody dies.” which is either terribly depressing or ends with one having written oneself into an irreconcilable plot corner!
