      1. I think the scene is important, but it’s hard to introduce them all because they are all important to the story and they all have to agree on the project. The reader needs to know Barry is in charge and very convincing AND has a thing for Melissa. All are important to the story. I’m sure you can figure it out. Again, by the end of the chapter, I had them all sorted.

  1. I’m more than halfway through. I got confused on chapter 1 as well when all the main characters were there. It’s my second time reading it and the first chapter has improved. Maybe a little more about how Barry is attracted to Melissa but that’s just the romantic person inside me talking.
