A beta reader replies… (spoilers ahead)
“Grabbed me right away and soon after got an actual “WOL” (WOW’D-Out-Loud)… seriously, I only stopped reading to feed the dogs and heat up a bowl of soup for myself. You’ve outdone yourself and I’m joyfully exhausted from all the action. Normally I prefer longer books but this one told the story and took me on such a trip the length was perfect.
Loved, loved, LOVED Dr Carerra showing up… definitely caught me by surprise, as did finding out Jaden Trinn was a good guy.
Trinn & DeShear make a great fighting team I think!
Lost count of the surprises and twists, right up to the end.
