(Okay, I’m back – but you should totally enter that writing contest!)

In one day I wrote 4200 words of what I think is a pretty good short story.

But this is not about me bragging.

Okay, a little.

This is about YOU being able to create a great story yourself, and send it in to get into our contest and subsequent anthology.

 

Meanwhile, I’ve been supposed to be writing this murder mystery for a collection of whole books for a different anthology.

So I decided since it was almost due, I’d better start.

I have about 18,626 words of the story written, and I want it to come in around 65k, so I’m about 29% of the way done, with about 29% of the month of July gone (as of when I created this blog post, which was the morning of July 10). What do you think?

Right on track! Not bad!

And who knows, I might get on a streak.

The thing is, this is going to be a whole book, in an anthology with a bunch of other whole books. Like 25 or more.
