HI Dan,
Do you use Premade covers or do you have custom covers made? The second book I published I used premade images and then the artist took two images and combined them. Thanks for the heads up and your post.

In some author forums I am in, they complain that certain models are used all the time for custom covers. I suppose if somebody reads a lot of a particular genre they might notice but I never have. And they are not talking about the same image being used, but the same person being used over and over.
Popular images are just that – popular. I have used custom and premade covers and never had an issue, mainly because my writing is pretty distinct from most genres. I think when someone is offering a premade cover, they tend to say whether or not it’s going to be exclusive. That’s what I’ve seen, anyway. If it doesn’t say exclusive then I guess it’s not.
