I’m not alone, the cat is by my side, and the kids are asleep. Hubby is having a drink with his cousins downstairs, and I am getting ready for bed, and a busy day tomorrow!

Don’t worry about me being alone, with three horses, eight cats (two I have to talk out of the basement!), and three horses, I have plenty of company.

I am getting ready to go next door for our traditional Christmas Eve party with the neighbors. The presents are wrapped. Breakfast is prepped. All I need to do is finish assembling a “hippopotamus for Christmas”.

It’s a Christmas song about wanting a hippopotamus for Christmas. It happens to be the neighbors son’s favorite song. So I crocheted him a hippo.
