Writing Contest – ABSOLUTE LAST CHANCE

Some of you sent an email saying you wanted to enter – and then I replied (I think, with this email system, who knows) – but you never sent your story or your entry fee.

Okay, I assume you got cold feet. Or the brakes went out on your car and you had to spend your entry fee money on that. I get it. Things happen.

BUT

If that wasn’t the case and you wanted to enter but didn’t, your prior inquiry counts as you making that attempt – so go ahead and send you story.

I’m not big on making extra work for myself. I have plenty of stories to read for this contest, trust me. But I’m gonna make an allowance for things falling through the cracks – okay, probably by me, and if it happened, here’s your chance not to miss out.

Simply stated, I sent a reply to more than one person from my iPhone (through AOL which took over my Verizon email account last year), and after the new system update from Apple on my phone and another from Microsoft on my home computer, a few entries probably slipped through the cracks. One or two people followed up and said they didn’t get a reply when I knew I’d replied to them. Easy enough. Reply again. That, they got. But in the case that they didn’t follow up, and also didn’t send a story because I didn’t reply, but they wanted to enter – here’s the chance.

If you are a last minute straggler, this doesn’t apply to you. My email isn’t THAT messed up. I have the original inquiries, smarty. I’ll know.
