I just added my author page to Amazon with a buying link set for my debut YA novel The Curse of Time – Book 1 – Bloodstone set for 26th August. Pretty happy right now! http://amzn.to/2tRPqmn
Posted up two extracts on my blog from two different books I’m working on; then went into an existentialist nose-dive along the lines of what was the point of it all? Who cares?
Next day read some fantasy by ……………REDACTED………………..
Said ‘Hey! I’m as good as that!’
Gave myself an allegorical kick in the backside for nose-diving, and am back on track.
That’s my accomplishment…Feeling good.
Although scary isn’t my real passion, I planned the anthology story in that genre and wrote the first couple pages. Going good!! Even if the anthology doesn’t come off, I’m pleased with the story plan I created and the beginning I wrote… 🙂
I submitted an excerpt for the writing contest. Also, I’m contemplating sending a short story in to be considered as a part of the upcoming anthology. I’ve never entered any of my work so entering the contest is huge step ad the anthology idea is even bigger.
Submitting the excerpt is my accomplishment for the week.

Verbal read through with the hubs who follows along with the type written version. It helps catch a lot of mistakes and really tunes up the dialog.

Brilliant! You should send them over so I can have a look anyway. Who knows what a pat on the back might do for you.

I’ve finished a book and I’m getting it ready for the Kindle Scout program. It’s a lot of prep, but I’m going to give it a shot.
