Definitely not. I have no desire to watch that show.

Ha!
I started recording the new season I haven’t been able to bring myself to watch a single episode yet. So I deleted them last night. Without watching them.
I’m hoping for a Netflix binge watch from season one… Eventually

That is what I did with Breaking Bad.

No, I hate it. Too much blood and gore.

I don’t watch. I tried. Epic fail.

I hear that!! I’m still going to try to watch them in a marathon spree, but I’m 50-50 on whether it will be an epic fail or enjoyable

There’s a lot of good psychology, writing, and acting. I found season 6 dialogue really good. I liked it until we met what Negan stood for at the end of season 6. I’m done now.
As for marathon watching, it’s the best way.

You know, that’s a good point. We might create an exercise where we write down the dialogue and try to describe what the characters are doing while they say it. I never thought about something like that, but it would be a great way for people who struggle with writing dialogue to learn how to do it!
If the show dialogue is good, that is.

Hm, good idea.

I didn’t watch it for several years after it came out. That kind of gore wasn’t my thing.
Then I got prodded into watching it and was surprised to find out I was hooked, not for the gore but the characters, and for the fact that society’s slate of evils was momentarily wiped clean.
After the season 6 finale, all that is changing though, and in addition to what I hear about the start of season 7 (I don’t have cable so have to wait for Netflix), it’s “going down a path I can’t follow” (Star Wars III).

Don’t get me started on Star Wars. I just saw the force awakens. Worst waste of 2 1/2 hours of my life in a decade.

I wasn’t impressed with that particular one. Otherwise, a fan since 1977. We saw the original movie come out.
