Agree!! I love Jane Austen but what makes me really enjoy her novels is the different sorts of characters!

I don’t know. I like different authors for different reasons. Some, like Austen, use beautiful prose to move me through their characters. Others use action and tension to make me feel, although their prose is straightforward. Shrug.

I don’t have the attention span for prose. Sad but true. Give me a darn good story, though, and I’ll stay on the bus.
