“I write because I’m good at it and because people like it. As singer or drummer I needed a band. This I can do solo.  I could probably stop tomorrow and never miss it.”

  1. Stephen King ? I don’t know why I think that, but I hope I’m right 😁 What prize are you giving for the right answer ? I wanna win 😂

  2. So, google’s no help – top choice is Ringo Starr – now that I’ve jogged your memory – care to share?

    1. Here’s what happened. I was going to put the author’s name with the quote and then I thought I shouldn’t do that because it’ll just give it away. No one will guess if I have the author’s name there. And since I logged that probably three or four weeks ago, I don’t remember where I saved the quote or who said it. I figured I could just Google it which, as you have learned, didn’t work.

          1. Oh I’m so glad you remembered – but to be honest I haven’t heard of him – so now I have to google HIM! LOL 🙂 🙂
