This is one of the display items when you go to meet the princesses at Disneyworld. (It has a cool banner over it which I wish I’d have gotten in the shot.) Not sure which princess was a writer but I know which was a big time reader. Do you?
And without Googling, tell me who was the writer. (Or make it up.)
You have 100 words to convince me. No cheating.

Belle was the reader, however, Rapunzel was the writer. With nowhere to go except to take another lap around the tower and minimal friends outside those in her head, Rapunzel had no choice, but to get creative. Sure, she preferred to memorialize her writing in the form of song lyrics, but when restocking ye ole journal collection means extra weight pulling on one’s hair, you make due with what you have.

Rapunzel! See, I knew she painted but I didn’t know she wrote. Nice job.

I was going to suggest Ariel as well, but the only thing I ever saw her write was her name on a scroll.

She was more of a collector.

Snow White. She lived with seven men. She cranked out romance novels.

Hmm. I’m voting for Princess Jasmine. She was bored.to.tears as a princess and craved adventure – remember, she’d visit the kingdom undercover. So she had time, money, creativity, and bravado. And a pet tiger.
