“Dinner!”
Eight hours of slow-roasted deliciousness called roast pork was now being shredded – and was calling my name. Our whole house smelled of barbecue and fresh baked yeast rolls. “Savvy, tell mommy to come eat.”
My four year old daughter walks in. “Were you calling mommy?”
I swallowed my eighth or ninth sample and stabbed a delicious piece of the roast pork, holding it up to allow her to admire my culinary expertise. Aromatic steam wafted into the air. “I don’t have to call her. THIS will call her.”
Savvy looked at the fork, completely intrigued. “Does it talk?”
For more amazing cuteness from my 4 year old daughter and the rest of her hilarious family, check out my Savvy Stories book series here. (Book two is on sale today) http://www.amazon.com/Dan-Alatorre/e/B00EUX7HEU/ref=ntt_athr_dp_pel_pop_1
