“Where is daddy going?”
“He’s going to the store to get some milk,” my wife said.
“In the rain?”
“He can drive to the store in the rain.”
Savvy turned to me. “Be careful.”
I smiled, heading out the door. “I will. Thank you.”
“Walk on the not rainy parts.”
“Okay, I will.”
“When you go out the door, stay close to the wall when you walk to the garage. It’s dry there.”
Good advice. I wonder where she learned that? Maybe she’s been paying attention all along after all.
