        1. We’ll, what happened was, the “old” name – Poggibonsi – was cute and I liked it, but it was confusing for potential readers. It didn’t hint at what the story was and it didn’t intrigue them. I knew once they started reading they would love it but that title made it harder to get people to start reading it. As a genre, it’s funny and romantic but it’s not a typical rom com. But making the cover more lighthearted and giving it a simpler name – The Italian Assistant – made it slightly closer to reader expectations. Redoing the log line and description helped. And showcasing the humorous side helped. It’s still hard to find readers though.

          1. Really! I am interested that its hard to find readers for this one. I did think the name was odd but I thought it was quirky. I can see that most readers would “get” this new name more easily. Well, I will let you know what I think of it when I am finished. I am about 25% in only as last week was hectic from a work perspective. Have a great week, Dan.
