It’s been a rough week of the flu but Savvy and I should be okay for Christmas. (Michele has dodged this bullet so far.)

I am sorry Savvy and you are both ill, Dan. Glad you are recovering. I have never been ill over Christmas but had chicken pox over my Grade 5 year end exams and German measles over my Grade 11 year end exams. Both times I escaped the exams and was given a year average.

No maladies to report, shopping is done and we are waiting for snow. Tomorrow we will wrap presents and light a fire. Feel better and Merry Christmas to you and yours.

Christmas hols 1970 (ish) I didn’t shave for several days on account of “man flu”. I asked Mrs P. could I keep it (the incipient beard) she said “Yes, but ditch the moustache!” Happy ending? All three of us are still together!
I hope you and Savvy recover quickly and keep writing – and that Mrs Dan escapes the flu. Have a great Christmas y’all.

UGH- best wishes for health and healing and a flu-free Merry Christmas! We had one tummy bug in the house this week, but it was a “one and done” kind of deal, and so far the rest of us have escaped…

We had that. My wife had the tummy one. My daughter and I have the head one. And keep your fingers crossed but right now it doesn’t look like it’ll be gone by Christmas…

My whole house is down with the flu. Luckily I shop and ship early, so Christmas is still happening even if we cough our way through it. LOL
