Agree. i think looking like the target you planed to kill and finding out yes already dead could have some advantages. before everyone finds out he’s dead you could steal his credit cards and take his car for a joy ride and get the most out of his life. only to find out you weren’t the only one trying to kill him and find out you have other killers after you. it writes itself.

It’s up there. It’s one of those lines I try to remember as I write because they are, to me, the essence of storytelling.
My all time favorite is probably, “Nothing is as it seems.” That one absolutely blew my mind.
