This week’s show:

First of all, Jenny was in danger of running away with our contest for the FOURTH week in a row. (She’s the scorekeeper, too. Hmm.) So Dan and Allison (okay just Dan) conspired against her to – well, you’l have to tune in and see.

“The Canadian geese are returning to Prince Edward Island. They are truly amazing – if cooked properly.”

This week we discuss:

  1. Where do you find inspiration for your stories? We’ll tell you.
  2. Who is your most memorable character? We discuss ours.
  3. Write drunk, edit sober: what does that means to you and which is more important? Learn the answer.
  4. What book influenced you most as a child? SPOILER: Green Eggs And ham!

Yes, it’s a bit silly. That’s the point. But it’s also insightful and fun. That’s also the point.

There’s a LOT more, so you should definitely watch, but think about joining us! We’re nice people! (Well, Jenny and Allison are. I get grumpy.) And you could win the valuable Best Writer Of The Week award. Probably.

  1. I enjoyed the video this week but kept getting distracted by everyones’s classy furniture in the background and excellent housekeeping. Very interesting commentary though.

      • Not anytime soon. I have weird looking furniture, am a bad housekeeper and most of all I’m not nearly as attractive as the rest of you and my vanity is enough to hold me back. Not to mention that I’m shy, cynical, sarcastic, vain (already said that one) and so terrified of pictures and being in front of a camera that I can barely Skype. A fellow nurse makes me Snap Chat when we walk into the hospital together but I usually hide behind her shoulder and make her swear she will only send it to her mother. Pathetic, I know,
