There are over 800 of you following this blog by email and more than 600 as WP subscribers, plus a bunch more that just pop in from time to time…
A year ago there were like ten of you.
Okay, maybe it was a hundred. Still.
I want to say thank you. It’s truly humbling to see so many people tuning in to see what I have to say. I’ll always try to make it worth your time.
(BTW, am I supposed to host a party when we hit 1000? Let me know.)
Thanks.
Dan

you don’t really need an excuse for a party?
Well, no…
A party sounds good to me!
You are invited!
Yay! I’ll be there.
Good. NOW it’s a party!
Excellent!
Yes. A party is essential. But why wait for 1000?
Because I missed the other ones. I was like, Oops, well, we’ll celebrate the next milestone. Then it was Oops again. I really wasn’t paying attention. At 750 I was like, gee, we added a lot of people this year… maybe we should do something. Some months I add 30, some months I add 100, so it’s hard to predict when 1000 would happen, but I’ll try to keep my eyes open.
I might just have a party to celebrate the 800 anyway – I’m sort of in the mood for a party.
Good point. It’s later there, too.
Still a *bit* early for a party… but then again… 😉
A virtual knees up a soiree of sorts
Full of nibbles gateaux and torts.
A smorgasbord on which to feast
Words and letters books a piece.
We’d all read a poem a verse or a rhyme
And be back home in plenty of time.
*bows low* 😇
Um… i think it is a good idea *blush*
How cool is that!
Thank you I may have been a little excited…
To our benefit. Very appreciated!
You mean I missed the party for 500? Damn.
Hugs
We all missed it, not just you. I missed it, too.
Dan, you put a lot of hard work into growing your audience and creating a blog that people want to read every day. It’s definitely an accomplishment worth celebrating!
(I’ll watch for my party invitation. 😊)
Thank you, CJ. BTW, this is the invitation, in case I miss 1000 too!
party?….you have to give a month notice…I live at the other side of the world….
If I had to guess I’d say March, but maybe February. So there’s your notice. I’ll put out the guest bed.
lol…Thanks..
Well done my fine fellow. Party. Yes. Definitely.
All the very best. Kris.
Thanks. You all played a big part!
Woohoo!
I know!
I always enjoy stopping by and seeing what you have to say. Awesome content and a wit to match!
And we like having you here. Loyalty counts. Thanks!
Congrats, Dan! This kind of readership growth is quite an accomplishment. You’ve earned it. 🙂
Thank you. I feel a little pressure to be more intelligent in posts now, but I won’t cave in to it.
You were pretty helpful in getting this thing onto the right track, too. I haven’t forgotten that!
Thank you for following my blog recently. I’m sort of a new blogger, I’ve got 2 months under my belt. 🙂 I’m learning sooo much from your blog. Congratulations on your success. Bet it’s well deserved.
Welcome aboard. I hear people learn a lot reading my blog. You can let us know.
The articles on using Pinterest and the 10 Emotional Hurdles were helpful.
Glad you found them helpful! That’s what we’re all about!
Hey man, you deserve it!. I’ve only taken up with WordPress recently and have been so impressed by the useful info you’re putting out. Keep up the good work!!
WordPress sure makes it easy! Glad you’re finding the blog helpful.
Congrats on the increase. You’re obviously doing something right. I’d say a party is definitely in order 😉
I guess I’d better have one, then. I hate to let people down. Are you guys all expecting to stay at the house? Is it BYOB? Or BYO snacks? I’ll make pizza…
Congrats Dan. Your like a contagious virus, LOL 🙂
That’s all I’ve ever asked.
So where’s the party gonna be? I might just make that trip. 😀
Good question. Virtual party?
That could be interesting, easier to cater for sure.
I think the secret party actually happens when you hit LEET status….at 1000, you’re close, but you can prolly order the Red Solo Cups AFTER the holidays and take advantage of the inevitable discount sales.
I’ll keep everybody posted. You guys let me know when cups go on sale.
Congratulations and I can bring cake to the party
Now THAT’s a good idea. Why didn’t I think of letting everybody else bring stuff?
You could do a theme, something that reminds them of their country. You could get a very curious mix of stuff 🙂
